This section
is OPTIONAL, but we strongly urge you to take a few minutes to write
your complaint in letter form.
We will forward your complaint letter to your local
government officials, your utility company, and your utilities commission
(the utility regulators).
You do not need to spend hours on this letter. Just
a quick 3-10 minutes describing your complaint is sufficient. Most
likely, officials will not read every word, but it will go into
their complaint chart as another complaint about SmartMeters.
We have learned that local government officials
do not take an issue seriously until they receive a certain number
of letters, phone calls, emails, etc. on a certain issue. 10 complaint
letters is a low priority, 50 letters gets their attention, and
hundreds - thousands of complaints will shoot this issue to their
top priority list.
We need to flood their offices with complaint letters
in order to get them engaged and help them understand the sheer
numbers people who are concerned about SmartMeters. Being angry
and silent does nto help. You need to communicate your complaints
and concerns to our leaders!
