Purpose of this website:

This website is part of a grassroots movement to put a halt to SmartMeter programs in the United States and around the world.

This website streamlines the thousands of SmartMeter complaints by logging the complaints and delivering them to the utility companies, utility regulators, and government officials. Why a unified database and complaint letters are important >>

By filling out the online complaint form below, the following will occur:

  • Your complaint will be stored in a unified database that will allow grassroots groups fighting SmartMeters to accurately gauge the number of people who feel their rights to health, safety, privacy, and billing accuracy have been violated.
  • We will then forward your complaint to the appropriate parties who have a responsibility to protect health and safety such as:
    • In California: Your State Assemblymember, State Senator, Governor, Utilities Commission, Utility Company, State Department of Public Health, and local City Council or County Board.
    • In states other than California: Your Governor, Utilities Commission, and Utility Company.
    • Outside the USA: We will log your complaint, but we are not currently forwarding complaints to authorities outside of the USA.

  • We will notify you of future legal actions which you can participate in. We will also contact you if there are any major updates in the SmartMeter opposition movement.

NOTE: We also recommend that you contact your utility company, PUC (Public Utilities Commission), and local officials directly. This website helps ensure that all parties receive your complaint, but calling, emailing, and writing directly to your officials is also very important.
